Error Correction and Decoding
Overview
Quantum error correction protects logical information with redundant physical qubits. Decoders interpret measurement signals to identify errors.
We study the interaction between error correction codes, hardware, and decoding. Our work covers system-level evaluation and low-latency decoding.
Approach
- ECCentric compares code families across hardware connections, noise models, and compilation choices.
- Zero-G decodes the sparse error signals that remain after a pre-decoder resolves simple local errors.
